Minor Warnings. You create an offline profile but for some reason it does not recognize that you
are indeed logged in. So it asks do you want to continue playing the game. It won't be saved. JUST go for it.

U can pause the game. Come out of full screen. Minimize it do your other stuff

OR The game itself keeps on self saving at various checkpoints. U will continue the story no matter what.

Głównym czarnym charakterem, będącym przeciwnikiem tytułowego bohatera, jest wiecznie roześmiany Joker. Pomimo znakomitych zabezpieczeń, temu psychopacie udaje się uwolnić z rąk więziennego personelu i uciec w mroczne korytarze Arkham. W pościg za nim rusza Batman, który jednak zanim spotka się oko w oko z arcyłotrem, najpierw musi pokonać pozostałych pacjentów zakładu – od zwykłych bandytów, po takie osobowości, jak Zsasz, Pingwin czy Trujący Bluszcz. Oprócz gołych pięści Mroczny Rycerz przez cały czas rozgrywki korzysta również z różnorakich gadżetów, które ułatwiają mu rozprawienie się ze złoczyńcami oraz poruszanie się po całym więzieniu. Gracz otrzymuje także możliwość skorzystania z Bat Cave, czyli jaskini w podziemiach, w której może dokonać on wymiany niezbędnych gadżetów i przygotować się do dalszej eksploracji.

Arkham Asylum korzysta z pełnej licencji, udostępnionej przez wydawcę komiksów o Batmanie. Gra nie jest w jakikolwiek sposób związana z żadnym filmem kinowym czy telewizyjnym, choć warto wiedzieć, że za scenariusz odpowiada Paul Dini – współautor serialu Batman: The Animated Series.
