THE 150:30 ERROR

After installing Snow Leopard all my CS4 applications displayed the same error dialog above. It was driving me mad! Fortunately, thanks to a reply to a post in a blog that it was solved.

Here’s how. I had to delete the following folder:

/Library/Preferences/FLEXnet Publisher

When I launched Photoshop it asked me for my serial number and once entered, all the CS4 applications worked perfectly.

Simply quit all CS4 apps and delete the following file:

/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD/cache/cache.db

The above path refers to the top level Library immediately inside your Macintosh HD. Now when you restart your CS4 apps you’ll be prompted to license your product with a new serial number.

Install instructions:

• 1) Install Daemon tools (to mount the .ISO files) & HJSPLIT (to join the splited .001/.002/.003... files)
  
  2) TURN OFF YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION
  
  3) Install the software (when asked for a serial, select the 30-day trial instead)
  
  4) After installation, run the Block Adobe Activation file included in the adobeact4.zip archive
  
  5) Find a serial via the Windows-based generator, or use a serial from the text file (both included in adobeact4.zip)
  
  6) Run the downloaded software, and enter the serial when prompted
  
  
  Congratulations! Your Adobe software is now registered and completely unlocked. For every CS4 product you install after this, you should not be asked for a serial again. If by some chance you are asked for a serial again, just follow steps 6 and 7 from above.
  
  Safe to update!
  
  7) Find the folder at C:/ Program Files / Adobe
  
  8) Drag the folders of your installed programs from the downloaded "Cracks" folder into the "C:/ Program Files / Adobe" folder on your local machine.
  
  9) Click "Yes to All" when asked about replacing files.
